Crystal from Colorado

Howdy Ya'll! I'm really from NC if you can't tell. I just joined a couple of days ago and have been scoping things out. I just moved to the Denver area and am partial to scrapbooking but stamping also has a place in my apartment. Unfortunately when I moved from Hawaii I had to discard most of my stuff so I am down to a small box. I got it out the other day to make some cards and guess what...I don't have any adhesive! :oops:So now my things are back in my box until I get a job and can get some tape. I can't wait to get started with all the great challenges and see everyone's creations. Who knows...when I get a job I might also get to buy some new things. :runnningaround:

Julie and I live in the Denver area too! Mothermark (Cindy) lives in Loveland. I thought I read on your blog that you live in the Bear Creek area? Not to far away, just a half hour or so! So glad you found us! I would never have wanted to leave Hawaii though........ especially in a couple of months when we have snow!

How funny to know you are so close. That's good to know. I can't say I really wanted to leave Hawaii but it was just too expensive. The other day when I saw snow on the tops of the mountains, I almost flipped out! I can't handle under 60 very well. Something I will have to get used to!

There is snow in the high country along Trail Ridge Road and Mt.Evans all year long. I like it best when it stays up there! It's our water supply so it's great to have it up there. Everyone likes to ski so they can go up there! After having to almost spend the night in our car right before new years because they closed Vail pass, I'll stay in the front range and leave the mountains to skiers!
