Any plans for the weekend?
Nothing much going on here. I am trying to finish some projects, maybe today I will be done.
There is a new paper store opening tomorrow that I want to go and check out. (not a scrapbooking store :( )

You spend money on something besides scrapbooking paper and/or stamps and embellies???? There are other places to shop? You're kidding aren't you?

hey she did say it was a "paper store"...sound promising.

I am doing the annual School Shopping trip this weekend...my kiddos know that in order for me to maintain the "yes" buy it composure throughout this event- I *MUST* have one (two or ten) trip(s) to an LSS or Craft Store/Stamping Store.

So tonight we go to TN for the Tax Free weekend...and tomorrow we go to Paducah, KY and hit up that mall. It's great fun! Seriously it is! 3 of them/1 of me- tonight..and tomorrow DH will join us for the all-day event! YIPPPEEE

Heading up to a cabin near Hayward WI for a week tomorrow morning!! :hammock:

We go with my parents and my brother/wife, looking forward to a relaxing week since my kids LOVE their grandma!! :D

I think we have wireless internet access...hee hee! When I'm not reading or napping in the hammock or swimming or playing in the sand with the kids, I get to pop in and see what's up. :popworm:

The store is nice and there was a lady there doing demonstrations, how to stamp on cards and emboss. People were buying ink, stamps and heat guns like crazy. So expensive!!!! I guess they don't shop at JoAnns with coupons.
It's a paper store with those large sheets of paper, and any size envelope and shaped card, except no scalloped circele or square, only rectangle and oval ( I did get those, and that is it). They did have scrapbook paper, but only selected ones and rub-ons and some embellishments.

just found this thread
Aaron was in the parade yesterday (opening to our county fair) with the church float. When we got to town is was 109 degrees!! We went to eat and I told him I was going back and taking a picture of the temp (you know to scrap with the parade pics LOL!) Well it had dropped to 105, but I still took it! Ü

Tomorrow we go school shopping -leaving very early in the morning as it is to be another scorcher and we'll have to shop fast-go to funeral #1, grab something to eat and then head to another city for funeral #2, then Benjamin has a group run for cross country with the team, so it will be late when we get home.

being hot is bad enough the humidity is the killer. It along with the heat was so suffocating last nite. Thank goodness it didn't last during the parade.
