It's a guest designer with a 3 month commitement !!! I think that is pretty awesome. Mitra is soooooo generous with the stamps!

You don't have to use IO stamps for submission.

I tried them out, but haven't made anything with the paper I stamped on yet. I have it sitting here waiting for me. This was the first week of school for us and it's been a little chaotic. I hope to finish something yet today.

I had read that, but do companies really pick someone who doesn't use their product? I've seen these contests before (and entered), but the winners (and runners up) were all ones who actually used the product, which I understand. Guess that's why I wasn't sure about entering.

I applied for the IO DT not using their stamps and I got picked.

I have never applied for any DT that requires you to use their products.

Yes, companies really pick someone who does not use their products, why wouldn't they?

Do you think that someone who uses X product and sucks, gets picked over someone who is awesome and does not use X product?
