Button, Button who's got the button? Buttons are some of my favorite embellishments! I find myself reaching for them over and over. Scrapbook pages, cards, altered items. I love buttons. The challenge is to use buttons on your project. Use as many or as few as you want just use 'em!

The keyword for the challenge is FC1. Use this keyword when uploading your project. Then post the link in this thread so we can see what you've done.

Make sure you check back every Friday for a new challenge.

Oh Kristen this is so lovely - the photo is so sweet and the use of buttons makes it so wonderful!

Hi Jennifer,
There is no deadline to play in the challenge, but for the Guest Design Team contest you need to have your card in by 12am EST on Friday. The winner will be announced this Friday.

Please be sure to put the challenge keyword FC1 on your photos! At this point a lot of entries are missing when I do a link search in the gallery, so be sure to post your link here too for the contest. I want to be sure no one is overlooked come judging time.

I am not sure if it is me making a mistake, people forgetting to put the keyword, or if the gallery is wonky. I am trying to figure it all out but until then just to be safe be sure to keyword and link here to your card please :)

I found this challenge and decided to play along :) I hope that I am right in seeing you can do things other than cards. Also, can you have more than one entry? Here is my first one, and I will add another if I find out you can have more than one...buttons are a favorite of mine :)

I may have to see if I can fit this in. My mom just gave me a bunch of old buttons and some of them are just so pretty I can't wait to use them. I've got 3 days yet....what can I give up to get this done in that time...??? Getting ready for the first day of school, sleep, cleaning. I'll have to sleep on it. Ok, I guess that means I'm not giving up sleep. Decisions, decisions. lol

Amy, you ROCK!!! I love love love your handstitching! Great idea to stitch around the flowers in the paper. Also great use of buttons. Oh and love the crimping to make give the effect of movement in the skirt.

Here is a little accessory to go with GiRLYTEENAGER's Dress Card.

This little purse card, measuring 3.5 x 4, is a perfect little note card or tag for a gift bag. The little flap stays closed with velcro. The inside is lined with patterned paper to mimic fabric found on the inside of actual purses.
