I like to quilt, I haven't done it in a while. I just recently got my sewing machine out and I sew on my cards :)
I like to cook, hate cleaning, too.
My dh is sitting here and I was asking him what my hobbies are and he laughed....I don't have much time for anything else besides taking care of baby and scrapping....
I love to watch TV, but that is not realy a hobby.

I like to cross stitch and have finished several BIG projects....but have one going for my mom....I forgot all about it! LOL! I took crochet classes after ds was born and did a few things with that...but don't do that anymore either! I love to read and still do that when I go on vacation. I love to garden and cook, but hate cleaning too.

I like reading when I get a chance and I like to cook. My DH went out to dinner tonight and wje we were done eating it was still early so we ran to the bookstore. I bought a new Harlan Coben book to read and a new cookbook.

Reading. I haven't in years since "life happens" but since I started using the bus to get to and back from work each day, I now have 4 hours of free time per day that I never had before, so Im using it to read. I've gotten quite a few books read this past month already. I just finished Songs of the Humpback Whale from Jodi Picoulet (sp?) last night. Its time to head back to the library since I can't afford the stacks of book at the rate I can devour them. lol

I also really enjoy foreign and indie movies. I'm thankfully in a movie club where we can meet as frequently as once a week if I choose to, to view various screenings around town. I just recently saw "Mongol" which was a biopic of Ghengis Khan. It was beautifully done and it was even nominated for an Oscar. I loved that it was in Mongolian as I've never heard that language before. My next one will be a French one that's getting rave reviews. lol..I obviously don't have a problem with subtitles.

Trying new restaurants (if you can call it a hobby). I love trying new ethnic places. Living in LA, there's always a plethora of places. This weekend I'm trying an Afghani restaurant since I just got into The Kite Runner and Thousand Splendid Suns.

THAT is all I have and will make time for as I've recently really just got back into scrapping. Now, apparently, I'll be back into cardmaking as well now that I'm a part of EIO. :)

I also paint. I love to read, too. I have done cakes for the past 12 years and work with gingerbread art. I also work with chocolate.

I love reading, will read a book a night! I also make victorian lampshades, but haven't made any for a couple years now. I used to take special orders for them and sell them. Now I am just to busy with work and all my other habits...errr...hobbies! lol

It's nice to see what else everyone enjoys doing!

I love to read and do crafts of all kinds. I used to teach wood crafts and sweatshirt applique on Saturdays (1x/month). I did that for 3 years and we decided we had all the home decor and sweatshirts we needed for quite some time. LOL!

I also like to quilt, crochet, cook & bake (but I don't call that a hobby, it's just my everyday life). I don't consider canning and jelly/jam making hobbies either, but love doing them.

I also used to attend craft fairs with fabric items, mostly time-worn dolls (translation-soak LOTS of muslin in tea, hang on line and make dolls Ü). At the time I did anywhere from 8-16 shows a year (almost all of them in the fall) and consigned my stuff in 8 stores. Of course I also had no children! LOL!! I did continue doing shows when Benjamin was little, but it got to be too much when I had Aaron so cut way back. Now I do NONE and am very happy LOL!!

I used to cross stitch ALOT. I think I made every pattern in two (all that was out at the time-80's) Precious Moments x-stitch books. I also knit, but prefer crocheting. Probably several things I'm missing, but papercrafts is my passion now.

I spend a lot of my time taking pictures. Usually portraits or out everyday life. I do not like to cook and I definitely don't like to garden! :) I'd rather read or go on a walk/bike ride/hike. Thankfully i live in the perfect place for any of that!

Suzy, my kids would just love sitting and watching the marine life. Last year Benjamin went to Belize and swam with the sharks and sting ray. I wasn't too thrilled about that!! But he had a blast.

I read any chance I get. Any genre!

In Jr. & Sr. high school, I made jewelry. I dabbled in it a couple years ago and have a desire to get back into it. Like I really need to add another hobby to my already busy life?!?! LOL!!

I also do woodwork. My dad instilled a respect for the table saw, band saw (my personal favorite), compound miter saw & scroll saw. I've built numerous pieces of furniture with my dad.

I painted on ceramics and wood. It turned into a chore a few years ago and I haven't picked up a brush since. Too many family members were buying pieces of ceramic and asking me to paint it for them.

Other than those, cardmaking is my obvious obsession.

Oh I forgot ceramics!!! My g'ma and I used to take classes on Thurs nites!

I too own a bandsaw. My mom thinks it's weird that I have so many "tools". LOL!! She was shocked that I was "excited" to get an electric sander and staple gun for Christmas from my in-laws one year.

Looks like we have a lot of book worms here ;-)

Growing up I never felt as if I had any interest/hobbies. Now there are so many things I want to do , learn, or try! BUT now I have 3 kids & NO time lol!

I have been deep into decorative painting both acrylic and oil and woodworking (basically just for my painting ) long before my scrapping! I go to painting convention in OHIO every year (except this year due to our house in Mn. not selling yet and two house payments being a killer but it ended up a blessing I did not plan to go as it is in aug. which is while I have been tied up with my mom in the hospital and I would have lost my deposit and not been able to go any way)

BUt painting and scrapbooking are my biggest joys and I am torn between the two.
