Friday is here!!!:runnningaround:
What is everyone up to this weekend?
Tonight I am going to dinner with my girlfriends. A place called Yanni's. Yummy Greek food!
This weekend we may go to one of the museums here and just relax. :hammock:
I am still recuperating from our travels.
Hope you all have a great weekend!!

HI...TGIF. I'm hanging with my girls, since DH will be at the NASCAR races all weekend. So, we'll probably do dinner out, a little shopping. My 6-yr old is staying at my sister's, so I'll get a little break...maybe enough to think about scrapping!

Plans are still underway at the moment. At some point I am taking little DS to a movie (just the two of us)...his big bro has been at camp this week (and tons o' moola spent on him) so I wanted to do something special just for the little guy (he's 9). My girls are wanting to scrap tonight but no definite plans are in order at this time...tomorrow (sat)...dh has to work for a few hours in the morning and again in the evening...so I'm sure the boys and I will find something to do...then...it's Fair time...so Sunday we will head over there for the "Faith" night...free rides, free concert...etc with your church bulletin. Christian Perks...gotta love that!
SO...as you can see it's no telling what will become the final plans for this lovely weekend! FUN is in store that's what I do know. :D:flirt2::p

TGIF everyone!! I'm soo glad.
Well, tonight is laundry night while I install some more cubes into my closet for my scrapping stuff.
Sat - I'll be at a crop all day at my lss to get some scrapping done. Sat night, no plans.
Sun - again, I'll be at a crop for most of the day, then having dinner with some friends at a Cajun restaurant that I love for some good old shrimp and crawfish. Then, I'm headed out to host a movie night to see Angelina Jolie's movie, "Wanted." It looks like a new Matrix, so I'm really excited. This is my movie club that I'm involved in. I can't wait to get back to my foreign movies which will happen after the holiday.
That's about it for me.

We just got back from a movie. Went to see Wall-E. It was Ok. Probably wouldn't go again but it was OK!
Now I'm waiting not so patiently for the Ups man to bring my camera and then I'm going to my sisters to teach a scrapbook class.

I'm cleaning my stamp room. Also need to make sure my oldest son has everything he needs to go to NM Friday. Will make the list and going to the city Tues. Hope to find some bargains at Hobby Lobby.
Hey, sunnychick-is the concert local or nationally known? It's been awhile since we've been to a concert. Last one was Mercy Me. Loved it!!!!!

It was busy around here. Last night as I was working late into the night I kept thinking today was Saturday and I had to go to the post office and mail all my creations (and ribbon for the swap). Well, I was glad to find out that it was Friday. I got everything done and made it to the po last minute.
No plans for the weekend. I told my dh that I want to go shopping for some new toys for Alex. He is going to be 6 monhts and he needs new, more challenging stuff. He gets bored easily and has mostly baby toys. He is sitting up with very little help :cheergirl: so we need something new to play with.

Today I cleaned off my desk and embellished a card.
Tomorrow I plan on doing absolutely nothing at all! Yesterday was Wesley's (ds) last day of school. I participated in a teacher vs. parent tug 'o war and have a painful bruise under my right arm. Erick (dh) is working all weekend. With the laundry done and everything dusted, I'm going to take a break and catch up on some reading.
We are going today and purchasing tile for our basement stairs and tomorrow tearing up the carpet that is there now. I've been wanting to do this for a while now and Kevin decided that the carpet needs to come up after getting wet in those storms we had.
I was supposed to work at a demo that I set up a month and a half ago, but the store owner called me yesterday at 4 p.m. saying she had forgotten about it and hadn't even ordered the tools I demo for customers to purchase. I've been in contact with her the entire time so needless to say when she called me at the last minute I was more than a little miffed. It's really been a bad week for me and I'm glad it's over. Hopefully next week will be better.
How could she forget to order the tools? That's awful!

That's what we went to see...I wasn't impressed. It was such a S-L-O-W beginning that seemed to linger on and on...I'm surprised the kids stayed interested. Curtis seemed to like it so that is what counts. WE really wanted to see the Panda movie but they were having technical difficulties with the film so Wall-E won out.

Yea, the beginning was so slow by the time it got interesting it was almost over! I was a little scared though, all the trash on earth and the non-moving humans. A little too close to what could happen if we don't start thinking more about the earth!
How could she forget to order the tools? That's awful!
I had even emailed her the tool list on May 30th and she told me in our conversation yesterday that she had it. It was even on their website calendar! Anyone who went to the site saw it. That's even how they remembered it yesterday she said. The really bad thing is it was a 14 hour crop and my demo for $45 so those who paid didn't get what they were expecting. She told me that they had lined up an employee who demos for another scrapbooking company at the same time as my demo because they hadn't remembered me coming, too, but that hadn't been advertised at all. I had even called one day last week several times because she was busy and her employee kept telling me to call back. Well, after 3 hours of doing that and being told she was still busy I gave her employee my name and number and told her to call me if she had any questions. Since I hadn't heard from her I thought all things we ready to go for today. Boy, was I wrong! She wants me to come in either Aug. or Sept. for a crop they will be HOPEFULLY doing and she's going to call me at the end of next week on it. I'm still skeptical because there's no way I'm going to go through all of this again and be cancelled at the last minute.
What makes it really bad is I had turned down another demo for today since I had her booked so I lost out on the money for both of them. :(
