Our mini vacation was WONDERFUL! We did have to take several detours getting their. Many of the roads and bridges were under water. It was sad seeing so many farm fields under water and knowing their crops were gone. We also passed through many small American towns with people trying to pump all the water out of their basements.
However once we got to the Dells is was great! We stayed at a hotel called the Atlantis and it had it's own mini indoor water park geared for little ones. The weather was awesome and of course we ate too much! For those of you that had noticed on National news they talked about Lake Delton and how it was just gone....well that is smack dab in the middle of the dells so I took some pictures. Quite odd to see a large empty hole with just a trickle of water where it used to be a lake.
Anyways I have tons of AWESOME photo's to scrap and can not wait!
