I have to say that this has been a really cruddy weekend for us. Yucky weather meaning too much time together stuck in the house. My husband turns into a bear when the weather gets super hot and humid and well...where is animal control when I need it!
My hubby is more owly in the heat, too. Yesterday's storms brought me a scare as Kevin was driving home from Des Moines, Iowa at the time they came through. We were all under a tornado warning and the news was saying that several tornadoes had been reported in the area he was driving through. I couldn't reach him on his cell and was so worried. It turns out that he had gotten caught trying to find his way out of the event he was at because they had closed off some areas since the time he had arrived which put him on the road a little later and he missed the storm. I was so relieved.
Today has been really quiet. He and Josh spent time together doing some things they enjoy as father and son. Then, Kevin has spent some time with me watching some shows we've recorded that we like. We haven't gotten a thing done today except for the dishes. Kevin just now run to the store for some things for lunches for the week. At least he hasn't been complaining about the heat.
Sorry your hubby is such a bear. I know mine will be at some point. It always happens.

Living in Iowa can be scary this time of year. I grew up in central Iowa and went to basement many of times because of green skies and funnel clouds dipping down out of the clouds.
But this was a very nice weekend for us. The temperatures were in the 90's and it was windy most of the time but that was okay. 90 degrees here is nothing compared to the midwest and the south with the high humidity. We ended up getting the pool out for the kids to swim in. They had a blast.

Rain, rain and MORE Rain! I think I have my very own swamp in the backyard now. I'm just thankful it has not found it's way into our basement yet.
We were suppose to go to a wedding on Sat night but the city it was in (an hour away) was getting bombarded with tornado warnings, hail, flash floods - so we opted not to go. I'm glad because when I saw the video clips on the news I was glad we were not in the mix of it all.
Sunday we had my cousins grad party in between the rain drops. Ate way to much and will have to kick it back in gear this week and be GOOD!
