I am so excited. I found out that one of my lss's has a monthly class teaching new techniques and trends in papercrafting. One month they did stamping. Each month is different. I plan on starting them next month. I'm doing it for some fun and to be able to use what I have learned for many different things.

Is there anyone else taking any classes online or at an lss? Have you done them before? Liked them/not liked them? I would love to hear about your experiences. :)

I normally don't get to take classes....dh works all of the time and I have 2 kidlets...but I'm spluring and am going to get Copic Certified in July.....I *SO* can't wait!!

Your classes sound like fun...I like techniques, it's the variety that makes this hobby so much fun!

Copic is a marker. They are blendable. They are refillable and you add different tips. Here's their site:

I signed up for the Photography class on Big Picture Scrapbooking. I took at painting class there before which was good, hopefully this is, too, because it was a lot of money!

I've taken alot of classes in my time because I have an amazing an lss who gets all the big celebs to come here.
I am doing the Shimelle class on documenting our lives through pictures once a month. It’s a free class.

I just checked that out, that looks really fun, although I don't know that I have the patience for a whole year. Tomorrow's the day, so I think I might try it....Thanks!

lol....I've just been taking pics so far. I have yet to actually scrap my calendar pages. But even if you do just a day, it would make a great "in the day of a life" type of page for BOM pages.

I'm not taking any, but I am the teacher at my LSS so I am teaching some. I teach all year, but taking it slower this summer.

Debbie, how many classes do you teach each month?

I just started at one of my lss' and my first class is July 20th. Some of the other instructors seem to have one a week, but I'm going to stick to the minimum of one every 2 months so that I can get some of my own scrapping done.

Ching,
It really varies. I teach alot more in the fall winter months. It just depends on how busy I am with Benjamin's sport and academic events. Family always comes first.
